Ria Hebden (Born 2nd January 1983) is an English journalist and television presenter. She has been reporting and presenting on Sunday Morning Live (British TV programme) and This Morning (TV programme) Sofa Tour since 2018 and has been the entertainment editor on Lorraine (TV programme) since January 2020. In Autumn/Winter 2020, she co-presented 'All Around Britain' with Alex Beresford, covering for Ranvir Singh, who was participating in the 18th series of Strictly Come Dancing (series 18).[1][2] Hebden founded Wonder Women TV in 2016, an organisation devoted to recruiting and empowering women in television.[3]

Early Life

Hebden was born on 2nd January 1983. She went to Brunel University London between 2001 and 2004, graduating with a 2:1 BA Hons.

Career

After graduation, Hebden worked as a publicist for brands such as Channel 4 and Twentieth Century Fox.[4]

In 2019, she became a co-presenter on Sunday Morning Live, alongside Good Morning Britain (2014 TV programme)|Good Morning Britain's Sean Fletcher, as part of a diversity shake-up.[5]

In Autumn/Winter 2020, Hebden stepped in for Ranvir Singh on All Around Britain, co-presenting with Alex Beresford, while she competed in Strictly Come Dancing (series 18)|Strictly Come Dancing.

In 2021, Hebden appeared in a video aired on television and radio discussing and shutting down COVID-19 vaccine lies|conspiracy theories about the COVID-19 vaccine.[6]

Personal Life

Hebden is married with two children, Noah and Luna.[7]
