Rewat is a small village of 1096 hectares in Degana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rewat depends on Goredi Chancha, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rewat is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Rewat's pin code is 341503[4], and village code is 01853600. The area of Rewat is segregated as 930 hectares unirrigated, the 19.52 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 146 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Goredi Chancha and Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
