Reta is a small village of 1245 hectares in Danta Ramgarh Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Reta depends on Sikar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 476.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Reta is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Reta's pin code is 332406[4], and village code is 01712800. The area of Reta is segregated as 476 hectares irrigated area, 533 hectares unirrigated, the 66.68 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 152 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sikar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
