Rémy Yulzari (born June 29, 1980) is a soloist double bass player, composer and educator.

Yulzari musical style crosses over classical music, traditional music and improvisation, exploring the sounds the double-bass can produce.[1].

Early life and education

Yulzari joined The Juilliard School’s 2-year Artist Diploma program after his First Prize in double bass from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. He has been the only double-bassist invited to join the New-York City-based program distinguishing two international soloists each year[2].

Yulzari has worked with Eugene Levinson, Bernard Cazauran, Thomas Martin, Bozo Paradzik and Tony Araque. He has also studied orchestration with Guillaume Connesson, composition with Alain Weber and conducting with Nicolas Brochot.
