Ready the Prince is a Canadian rock band based in Toronto, Ontario.[1][2][3][4] which was founded in 2012[1][5]. They have released a studio album and three EPs[6]. Steve and Dan met in high school at the Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts[3].

They have been associated with music producer David Bottrill, who has worked with bands such as Tool, Rush, Peter Gabriel, The Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Sour, Muse, Silverchair and Mastodon[7].

Members of Ready the Prince are close friends with members of fellow Canadian rock bands cleopatrick and Zig Mentality[8]
