Rayani Immediato (born June 20, 1991, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a brazilian actress, voice actress[1], entrepreneur, digital influencer, writer, translator and YouTuber. She is the main founder and CEO of "Sociedade Brasileira de Dublagem - SBD (Brazilian Society of Dubbing)"., which aims to boost and professionalize the dubbing market in Brazil, founder of Grupo Olimpo"Grupo Olimpo". for entrepreneurs from all tribes and, in addition, is a partner of "Motivo Arts"., a company that offers online courses in Musical Theatre and Singing. Throughout her artistic and professional career, Rayani has translated several series and films such as Catfish: The TV Show, 30 Rock, The Powerpuff Girls, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, Grease: Live and The Boy (2016 film). She also performed as a voice actress, dubbing the brazilian portuguese versions of Irene "Zirconia" Cabrera in Orange Is the New Black, Sonya in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials and Elise in the online MMORPG videogame World of Warcraft, among other characters[2]. Rayani is married to Mabel Cezar, co-founder of the Brazilian Society of Dubbing and one of the biggest voice actresses in Brazil, since 2014.

Career

Known as a "self-made-woman", Rayani started working very early. At 15 years old, she was a professional actress and, at 19, she had three simultaneous jobs.

At the end of 2014, she graduated in Literature at PUC-Rio, where she also studied Translation Techniques for Dubbing and Audiovisual Translation. In October 2013, she was hired by Globosat channel network, taking care of dubbing and subtitles' quality control. After getting her degree, she got herself right into the dubbing market.

At first, she faced some difficulties due to the resistance of old professionals in the field, specially regarding the training of new voice actors and actresses. According to her, it was very difficult to find information about courses in the dubbing area.[3] For this reason, in mid-2016, aged 24, Rayani identified a unique and revolutionary opportunity, founding, alongside Mabel Cezar, the Sociedade Brasileira de Dublagem - SBD (Brazilian Society of Dubbing).[4] [5]

In its first year of operation, SBD became the first 100% online brazilian school for dubbing and reached out the mark of 1 million reais in sales (about 197 thousand dollars), training more than a thousand students. Nowadays, it is considered the biggest dubbing school in Brazil and has already graduated more than 4 thousand students without having to travel to São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro[6]

Also in 2016, Rayani published her first book, entitled "Guia Definitivo de Tradução para Dublagem" ("Ultimate Dubbing Translation Guide"). She also wrote the works "O Guia Definitivo de Dublagem" ("The Ultimate Dubbing Guide") and "A História da Dublagem" ("The History of Dubbing")[7]. In 2017, she created the Dubbing Experience 2017, first live dubbing event in Brazil. It included the participation of established artists, such as Marlene Costa, Carmen Sheila, Leonardo José and more.[8] [9] In 2018, she spoke at the events Maestria Ao Vivo, Revolução do Conteúdo and Liga das Mulheres Incríveis, speaking in all of them about performance and success in the digital market[10]. Later, she created her own event, Dia Extraordinário.

In 2019, the Brazilian Society of Dubbing gained more national recognition, being broadcast in vehicles such as Pequenas Empresas & Grandes Negócios[11], UOL Economia[12], Veja SP[13] and Estadão[14], among others. In the same year, Rayani founded Grupo Olimpo, which brings together entrepreneurs and digital influencers who want to share professional experiences.

In 2020, she was invited to speak at the Digital Awards Talks event, held at the São Paulo City Hall by Instituto Sou + Jovem. In 2021, she became a partner of Motivo Arts company, which operates in the field of Musical Theatre and Singing.

Awards

When it comes to entrepreneurship[15], Rayani won two "6 in 7 plaques" (a digital marketing term that means making more than 6 digits in 7 consecutive days) at brazilian Fórmula de Lançamento Ao Vivo event, one in 2017 and the other in 2018. In 2018, she was also rewarded with the Hotmart's "Black Plaque" after reaching 1 million reais online sales in Hotmart. In 2019, she received the 7-digit plaque in 12 months at the same Fórmula de Lançamento Ao Vivo event for reaching the 7-digit mark (that is, 1 million reais) in 12 months with the sale of digital products.

Personal Life

Rayani Immediato, who used to spend 6 hours on the bus every day to study at PUC-Rio, now has a multimillionaire dollar digital business[16]

In 2014, she got married to the voice actress Mabel Cezar, known by fans as "Queen of Dubbing"[17]. The two lead the Brazilian Society of Dubbing together, offering courses and mentorships for begginers. In addition, Rayani actively advocates for LGBTQIA+ rights on social media.[18]
