Rawatpura is a small village of 1422 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rawatpura depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rawatpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Rawatpura's pin code is 345025[4], and village code is 02064600. The area of Rawatpura is segregated as 1417 hectares unirrigated, the 4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1 hectare area not available for cultivation.
