Rawatpura is a small village of 32 hectares in Ghatol Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rawatpura depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rawatpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Rawatpura's pin code is 327027[4], and village code is 03384200. The area of Rawatpura is segregated as 10 hectares irrigated area, 11 hectares unirrigated, the 8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 2.97 hectare area not available for cultivation.
