Ratunja is a small village of 716 hectares in Jalor Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ratunja depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 248.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ratunja is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Ratunja's pin code is 343021[4], and village code is 02291200. The area of Ratunja is segregated as 395 hectares irrigated area, 228.64 hectares unirrigated, remaining 92.11 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
