Ratsi Mehmapur is a small village of 182 hectares in Sikanderpur Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ratsi Mehmapur depends on Sikanderpur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Ratsi Mehmapur's pin code is 221709[4], and village code is 09119100. The area of Ratsi Mehmapur is segregated as 125 hectares irrigated area, 2 hectares unirrigated area. the 24 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 31 hectare area not available for cultivation.
