Rati Talai is a small village of 253 hectares in Kumbhalgarh Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rati Talai depends on RAJSAMAND, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rati Talai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Rati Talai's pin code is 313334[4], and village code is 03002700. The area of Rati Talai is segregated as 53.12 hectares irrigated area, 17.1 hectares unirrigated, the 148.08 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 34.85 hectare area not available for cultivation.
