Ratalya is a small village of 261 hectares in Sanganer Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ratalya depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 82.39% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ratalya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ratalya's pin code is 302029[4], and village code is 01551600. The area of Ratalya is segregated as 82.39 hectares irrigated area, 80.49 hectares unirrigated, the 60.35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37.68 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
