Rata Khera is a small village of 195 hectares in Nasirabad Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rata Khera depends on Nasirabad, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 25.02% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rata Khera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Rata Khera's pin code is 305601[4], and village code is 02552200. The area of Rata Khera is segregated as 45.7 hectares irrigated area, 111.84 hectares unirrigated, the 8.54 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.
