Rareș Petru Achiriloaie (born 13th of June 1994, Brașov, Romania) is a Romanian Government official and diplomat. In November 2023, he was appointed as President - State Secretary of the National Authority for the Protection of Children's Rights and Adoptions. He is a member of Romania's Foreign Service within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

His parents are Valeriu Petru Achiriloaie, a university professor, and Marinela Achiriloaie, both engineers. The former alpine skier and only Romanian to compete in the FIS Alpine Downhill World Cup events, Ioan Valeriu Achiriloaie, is his brother. He is married and has one daughter.

His professional experience is exclusive to the public sector, having worked at the Romanian Chamber of Deputies, the Ministry for Economy and the Ministry for Romanians Abroad. Having finished his studies, he started out as an intern at the Ministry for Youth and Sports.

Rareș P. Achiriloaie is an alumni of SOAS, University of London and the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration Bucharest. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Relations from SOAS and a Master's Degree in Public Relations at SNSPA. During his BA at SOAS, he also spent one year at the prestigious Sciences Po Paris.

At the begining of 2023, Rareș Achiriloaie co-founded the Association of Young Professionals from the Public Sector (Asociația Tinerilor din Administrația Publică), a networking platform for like-minded professionals from public administration and international organizations. Another initiative is Transylvania Basketball Tournament (2016-2018), the only non-profit university basketball tournament in Central and Eastern Europe. In the last edition of the tournament, Oxford University participated in the women's event, thus marking the university's first ever sport event presence in Romania.
