Ranwasi is a small village of 1130 hectares in Kishanganj Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ranwasi depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Ranwasi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Ranwasi's pin code is 325224[4], and village code is 03906700. The area of Ranwasi is segregated as 2 hectares irrigated area, 95 hectares unirrigated, the 24 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 968 hectare area not available for cultivation.
