Ranwa is a small village of 1100 hectares in Chohtan Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ranwa depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ranwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Ranwa's pin code is 344012[4], and village code is 02270900. The area of Ranwa is segregated as 31.77 hectares irrigated area, 692.52 hectares unirrigated, the 365.12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 10.26 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ranwa is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1023 and has total administration over 155 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
