Rangpura is a small village of 215 hectares in Soraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rangpura depends on Fafamau, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Rangpura's pin code is 229413[4], and village code is 05416700. The area of Rangpura is segregated as , 95 hectares unirrigated area. the 52 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 68 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Fafamau and Allahabad to sell bricks and make their living.
