Randal Reeder (born November 27, 1971) is an American actor, producer, and former professional wrestler. He is best known for his role as Buck in the film Deadpool (2016) and its sequel, as well as for numerous supporting performances in television and film.[1][2]
Early life and background
Reeder was born in Pasadena, Texas, United States.[1] He began training as a professional wrestler at age 18 and later appeared on ESPN’s Global Wrestling Federation television program before transitioning to acting.[3]
Acting career
Reeder’s on-screen credits span film and television. On television, he has appeared in programs including Walker, Texas Ranger and King of the Hill.[4]
In cinema, he portrayed **Buck**, a friend of Wade Wilson (Deadpool), in the 20th Century Fox film Deadpool (2016).[5] Other roles include the 2009 legal thriller Beyond a Reasonable Doubt (as a Survivalist), the comedy-drama Leaves of Grass (2009) (as Shaver), and the independent feature Hard Luck Love Song (2020) (as Bump).[6]
Other work
Reeder has also worked as a producer and director on independent film projects, continuing to base his creative work primarily in Texas.[4][3]
Personal life
Reeder resides in Texas and participates regularly in fan conventions such as Comicpalooza in Houston.[3]
