Ranchhor Nagar is a small village of 689 hectares in Jalor Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ranchhor Nagar depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 50.50% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ranchhor Nagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ranchhor Nagar's pin code is 343001[4], and village code is 02293700. The area of Ranchhor Nagar is segregated as 160 hectares irrigated area, 478 hectares unirrigated, the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 40.78 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
