Ranchhar is a small village of 1046 hectares in Baraut Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ranchhar depends on Baraut (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Ranchhar's pin code is 250345[4], and village code is 01049300. The area of Ranchhar is segregated as 12.9 hectares irrigated area, 2.17 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 20.54 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ranchhar has One post office (Ranchhar B.O). Ranchhar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Ranchhar is a census village in the district of Bagpat, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 7897 and has total administration over 1288 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Baraut (MB) and Bagpat to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
