Ranasar is a small village of 1006 hectares in Neem-Ka-Thana Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ranasar depends on Neem ka Thana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 80.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ranasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Ranasar's pin code is 332713[4], and village code is 01743800. The area of Ranasar is segregated as 200 hectares irrigated area, 386 hectares unirrigated, the 322 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 98 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Neem ka Thana and Sikar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
