Ran Bechor (Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found.; born 22 May 1986) is is an Israeli playwright, theater director, TV and movie actor, and experienced educator. He is currently an instructor for modern Hebrew at Harvard University[1] and the artistic director of Adam Theater.[2]

Education and career

Ran Teodor Bechor was born on May 22, 1986, in Israel. He received his B.A. in philosophy and theater and M.A. in sociology and anthropology from Tel Aviv University.

Bechor started his career as an actor in Israeli TV series and Israeli films. In theater, he started his career in directing local theater festival in Tel-Aviv and founded and led community theater for jewish and arab youth, in several cities in Israel. Bechor wrote and directed several theater plays which received awards in Israeli theater festivals.[3] [4]

In the field of education, Bechor held positions of teaching theater in high-schools and as a T.A. in Tel Aviv University. Bechor held the role of the school principal at the school for gifted children in Jerusalem in the years 2020-2022. As of 2023, Bechor is serving as a preceptor in modern Hebrew at Harvard University.
