Ramthara is a small village of 1384 hectares in Sapotra Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ramthara depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 15.23% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Ramthara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ramthara's pin code is 322218[4], and village code is 01253700. The area of Ramthara is segregated as 266.02 hectares irrigated area, 22.8 hectares unirrigated, the 132.95 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 208.69 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ramthara is a census village in the district of Karauli, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1534 and has total administration over 284 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
