Ramsari is a small village of 650 hectares in Degana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ramsari depends on Goredi Chancha, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ramsari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Ramsari's pin code is 341503[4], and village code is 01854700. The area of Ramsari is segregated as 537 hectares unirrigated, the 21.3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 92 hectare area not available for cultivation.
