Ramri is a small village of 431 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ramri depends on Jhalrapatan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 90.14% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ramri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ramri's pin code is 326021[4], and village code is 04006100. The area of Ramri is segregated as 90.14 hectares irrigated area, 48.74 hectares unirrigated, the 78.02 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 73.84 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalrapatan and Jhalawar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
