Rampura is a small village of 257 hectares in Baswa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rampura depends on Bandikui, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Rampura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Rampura's pin code is 303325[4], and village code is 01341000. The area of Rampura is segregated as 58.1 hectares irrigated area, 68.21 hectares unirrigated, the 76.96 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13.52 hectare area not available for cultivation.
