Rampur is a small village of 731 hectares in Karauli Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rampur depends on KARAULI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 100.32% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rampur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Rampur's pin code is 322241[4], and village code is 01233400. The area of Rampur is segregated as 149.62 hectares irrigated area, 134.79 hectares unirrigated, the 64.05 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 139.67 hectare area not available for cultivation.
