Ramniwas is a small village of 273 hectares in Atru Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ramniwas depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Ramniwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ramniwas's pin code is 325205[4], and village code is 03881500. The area of Ramniwas is segregated as 209.73 hectares irrigated area, 0.07 hectares unirrigated, the 31.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 31.72 hectare area not available for cultivation.
