Ramnagar is a small village of 200 hectares in Indragarh Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ramnagar depends on INDRAGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 5.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ramnagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ramnagar's pin code is 323614[3], and village code is 02733100. The area of Ramnagar is segregated as 40.47 hectares irrigated area, 49.67 hectares unirrigated, the 12.61 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 97.69 hectare area not available for cultivation.
