Rama is a small village of 500 hectares in Raipur Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rama depends on Gangapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 71.47% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rama is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Rama's pin code is 311803[4], and village code is 02854200. The area of Rama is segregated as 71.47 hectares irrigated area, 52.37 hectares unirrigated, the 241.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 135.38 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Gangapur and Bhilwara to sell ghee and make their living.
