Rakhi is a small village of 4312 hectares in Siwana Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rakhi depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 18.85% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rakhi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Rakhi's pin code is 344043[4], and village code is 02168700. The area of Rakhi is segregated as 24.86 hectares irrigated area, 1041.23 hectares unirrigated, the 776.05 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 2077.24 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Rakhi has One post office (Mokalsar S.O) and Thirty Eight public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Rakhi is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4659 and has total administration over 820 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BALOTRA and Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
