Rakesh Kumar Shukla is an Indian litterateur and professor of Hindi literature.

Early life and education

Rakesh Shukla was born in Bhewali ,Khajuha(Fatehpur district),Uttar Pradesh in 22 April,1967. After receiving primary and secondary education in the town of Maudhaha(Hamirpur district, Uttar Pradesh) and higher education from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University and from there in 1996 ,P.hd. He got his teacher training degree from Christian Training College, Lucknow.

Career

currently he is a Professor in Hindi Department ,Vikramajit Singh Sanatan Dharma College,kanpur. He is also serving in Vidya Bharati(Higher Education) as 'Prant Adyaksh'(Kanpur Prant) and vice president in Indian Thinkers Society. He served as an editor of a magazine named Vandana Digest from 2000-2008.

Published works

'Jalta rahe diya'(anthology),2002 'Nayi Kavita Me Udatta Tatva'(research review),2008 'Unki Srishti Apni Drishti'(compilation of book reviews),2019 he has also edited 12 books and he has published more than 100 research papers and articles in various journals like 'samkalin bhartiya sahitya' of Sahitya Akademi,[1] and 'Gagananchal' of Indian Council for Cultural Relations.
