Rajor is a small village of 312 hectares in Bhim Tehsil in Rajsamand district is known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh of Mewar in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rajor depends on BEAWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rajor is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Rajor's pin code is 305901[4], and village code is 02956200. The area of Rajor is segregated as 17.4 hectares irrigated area, 18 hectares unirrigated, the 26 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 113 hectare area not available for cultivation.
