Rajib Ghoshal (born 18 March 1976) is an Indian politician who is serving as General Secretary of Trinamool Youth Congress(TMYC) from July 23, 2020. He has an impeccable political career. He is a renowned social worker in Bankura. He did an impressive job during the pandemic situation. During the Lockdown period, he served food among 3 lakh people. He also took a responsible part in a Blood crisis situation. He organized several blood donation camps in different parts of Bankura to normalize the blood crisis situation. In the rural and tribal areas of Bankura, he distributed more than 3 lakh masks.
Early life and Education
Rajib Ghoshal was born in Bakura, West Bengal to a Bengali Hindu family. His parents were Late Satya Sadhan Ghoshal and Parbati Ghoshal. He got married to Jhuma Ghoshal. They have a daughter (Ishita Ghoshal). In 1992 Rajib Ghoshal completed the higher secondary board examination from Beliatore Higher Secondary School. He did his bachelor’s in commerce from Sonamukhi Mahavidyalaya in 1997. After that, he completed an MBA from Bhartiya University.
Personal Life
Rajib Ghoshal is a very soft-spoken and soft-hearted person. From early student life, he involved in social work. He is a very devotee person. He is a very well speaker and influencer. Generally, he used to a simple life. He likes to read books and listening to music .
Political Career
Rajib Ghoshal started his political career in 1998 as a Trinamool Congress worker. Next year, in ’99 he got the responsibility of Trinamool Chatra Parishad(TMCP) in Barjora Block (Bankura). Then he just started his run in political track. In the early days, he fought for the student’s rights. His extraordinary performance made him General Secretary of TMCP in Bankura. After six years (In 2006) he became TMYC(Trinamool Youth Congress) working president in Bankura. In 2014 he became Bankura District President of Trinamool Yuva. He began to serve as State Secretary of TMYC(Trinamool Youth Congress) from 2015. In 2018 he became TMYC(Trinamool Youth Congress) President of Bankura District. In next year he became the Organization President of TMYC(Trinamool Youth Congress) in Bishnapore. In 2020 he got a big political responsibility. He became State General Secretary of TMYC(Trinamool Youth Congress) in West Bengal.
Controversy
It was the year 2007. Then the student union of left front threatened and forcefully tried to conduct a one-sided college election. Rajib Ghoshal made a strong protest against them. And as a result, he was sent to jail for 39 days. But it proves boomerang for the ruling party at that time. In that year TMCP came in the power of all colleges in Bankura.

Besides an active career in politics, Rajib Ghoshal is known for his noteworthy contributions in the field of social welfare.
