Rajesh Kumar (born July 15, 1974) is an Indian photographer, digital marketing specialist, business development consultant, social media influencer, and PR expert. He is best known for brand building, digital media marketing, online sales & project management, and affiliate marketing and has over two decades of experience as a digital marketer.[1][2]

Kumar specializes in search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing (SMM), lead generation, mobile marketing, and advertising. Kumar is considered an expert in social media management and has built a huge network to provide immediate exposure for brands and businesses. He is a renowned digital marketing expert since 1996 with a strong grasp of business networking and social media management.

Kumar is best known for his expertise in gaining online traction for his clients and is considered one of the leading SEO experts and e-Commerce marketers in the country. He has worked with several renowned organizations including Commerce One, BizPotential, RMC GEMS, and Insource Asia, to name a few.

Early life and education

Kumar was born on July 15, 1974, to Shrmati Meera Devi and Mr. Ashok Kumar in West Bengal. His childhood was spent in Jamalpur, Bihar and his father worked in Railways so they live in a railway colony. He completed his high school education at Kendriya Vidyalaya Jamalpur, Bihar. In 1992, Kumar enrolled in Delhi University, where he pursued a bachelor’s degree in Arts. Soon after that, he went to the American Institute of Technology, where he did a post-graduation diploma course in Multimedia. Simultaneously, Kumar also acquired a diploma in Web Designing and Web promotion from Asmocom Internet Services.

Later, in 2002, Kumar did a six-month diploma course in Computing at Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Career

Kumar began his career in 1996 as a freelance digital marketer for R. K. Electro. A year later, Kumar joined Infopark Computer Education as a web designer, where he worked for three years.[3]

In 2000, Kumar joined Commerce One India Pvt. Ltd as a senior consultant. He worked for three years at this firm during which he was involved in evaluating, documenting, planning, deploying, and testing the WebMethods and Commerce One platform initiatives - MarketSite, Supply Order, and Enterprise Buyer Desktop. Kumar was also responsible for designing and executing applicable test scripts for the Commerce One MarketSite trading platform.

In 2003, Kumar started working at BizPotential Co., Ltd. as a Business Development Manager. During his two-year-long tenure at this firm, Kumar was involved in creating and implementing new systems including assembly fashion supervision, and pair programming for gaining traction for the company.

In 2005, Kumar joined STS Gems Thai Ltd. as an Internet Sales Manager. After a year, he joined Qu Bit Technologies Pvt. Ltd. as the Director of E-Business Development. In the same year, he also managed e-commerce operations for Creative Gems & Jewelry Public Company Ltd.

A year later, In 2007 Kumar joined RMC GEMS THAI CO., LTD. in Bangkok, Thailand as an e-Commerce & Marketing manager. He is responsible for the company’s marketing, brand management, internet sales operations, website management, social media optimization, and internet communications. internet sales operation, Website management, social media Optimization, and internet communications. Kumar throughout his tenure at RMC has managed numerous representatives and worked on securing an influx of potential clients.

In 2011, Kumar joined Insource Asia Co., Ltd. as an e-Commerce consultant. He worked for seven years at this firm, during which he managed all the entire e-Commerce operations for Centre Point Hospitality, Atmind Group, Asian Trails, and TravPax.[4] He also handled social media, search engine optimization, online PR, blogs, affiliates & PPC campaigns for the company. Kumar Worked as a consultant for MVP from 2014 till 2019.[5]

Apart from that, Kumar specializes in street, landscape, portrait, event, and fashion photography. He has worked with multiple prolific clients as a photographer and has been highly acclaimed in the domain with features in numerous media outlets. Kumar is also involved in Promoting Bollywood Movies in Thailand.[6]

Personal life

Kumar is married to Pooja Kumar, and they have a son named Rudra Kumar. Kumar started photography as a hobby in 2005 while working with an online company. He is passionate about photography and is actively involved in pursuing his passion.

He is fluent in Hindi and English.
