Raja Maldev Panwar

Raja Maldev Panwar was king of Malpura, Tonk. In 1216 AD the city of Malpura was built by Raja Maldev ji and named after him. Raja Maldevji was the descendant of Raja Bhoj Parmar of Dhar. A fort was built by Maldevji which has now turned into ruins. Descendents of Raja Maldevji migrated to Khandesh region of Maharashtra. Today they are known as Mala Parmars after him. There is not much information about Raja Maldevji because there is a lack of historical records on him.
