Raisinghpura is a small village of 846 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Raisinghpura depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Raisinghpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Raisinghpura's pin code is 345024[4], and village code is 02056700. The area of Raisinghpura is segregated as 304 hectares unirrigated, the 539.16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 2.93 hectare area not available for cultivation.
