Ryan John Metzger (born July 16, 1995), known by his initials RJM, is an American rapper from Sicklerville, New Jersey. He has released two albums, "Defined" (2018) and ''Poetic Drive'' (2021), and operates under his independent record label, titled Poetic Drive.
Early Life & Style
RJM was born in Sicklerville, New Jersey in 1995[1]. His passion for Hip-Hop stemmed from his early exposure to artists like Nas, Wu-Tang-Clan and Pharrell Williams as a child[2]. His work has been credited for featuring an emphasis on lyricism and storytelling[3][4][5].
Career
RJM has stated that that Hip Hop was his escape to a more conscious and socially conscious reality[6]. He would go on to release several singles on YouTube and SoundCloud before releasing his first two albums, "Defined" and "Poetic Drive", respectively[7].
