Puwandla is a small village of 332 hectares in Gangdhar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Puwandla depends on Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 7.34% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Puwandla is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Puwandla's pin code is 326514[4], and village code is 04131900. The area of Puwandla is segregated as 31.59 hectares irrigated area, 49.5 hectares unirrigated, the 99.33 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 45.25 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
