Pushkar Sharma started his journey with Al Barkat school and won his school several matches on his own. Performing best in a school cricket team, landed him to lead the U16 team of Mumbai. But Pushkar being a forever hardworking and determined man had to face the biggest test of his life when his father passed away. Even while grieving on father’s loss and the situation of the family, he did not give up on cricket. He got an opportunity to work in an Organisation where he can work as well as play his dream. He seized the opportunity.[1][2] It was courageous to work and play for IndiaFirst Life Insurance Company. He had an opportunity to play one of the most famous African cricket, as a result of his good performance in Corporate cricket. Pushkar also hit three and a half centuries in 4 matches within the competition. Influenced by this game, Hirani Tele Communication company, Africa, gave him a chance to work and play for their team. Pushkar’s life was filled with roller coaster rides but it was only the art of toiling which has helped Pushkar in his play. Today Pushkar Sharma is playing on behalf of the Hirani Telecom in Kenya and the Ruarka sports club. He may also be part of the Kenya national team within a few days.[3][4]
