Pushkar (Rural) is a small village of 1544 hectares in Ajmer Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pushkar (Rural) depends on Pushkar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 84.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pushkar (Rural) is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Pushkar (Rural)'s pin code is 305022[4], and village code is 02505200. The area of Pushkar (Rural) is segregated as 294 hectares irrigated area, 18 hectares unirrigated, the 294 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 594 hectare area not available for cultivation.
