Puran Bari is a small village of 851 hectares in Sikar Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Puran Bari depends on Sikar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Puran Bari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Puran Bari's pin code is 332021[4], and village code is 01698400. The area of Puran Bari is segregated as 385.94 hectares irrigated area, 389.78 hectares unirrigated, the 50.27 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 25.21 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Puran Bari is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1995 and has total administration over 382 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
