Punwalia is a small village of 286 hectares in Parbatsar Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Punwalia depends on Pushkar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 40.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Punwalia is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Punwalia's pin code is 341503[4], and village code is 01876300. The area of Punwalia is segregated as 40 hectares irrigated area, 232.44 hectares unirrigated, remaining 14 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Punwalia is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 664 and has total administration over 126 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pushkar and Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
