Punasa is a small village of 3049 hectares in Bagora Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Punasa depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 400.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Punasa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Punasa's pin code is 343029[4], and village code is 02313200. The area of Punasa is segregated as 792 hectares irrigated area, 568.1 hectares unirrigated, the 1331.2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 358.12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Punasa is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 7223 and has total administration over 1208 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell earthen pot and make their living.
