Punariya is a small village of 983 hectares in Bali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Punariya depends on Rani, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 378.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Punariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Punariya's pin code is 306706[4], and village code is 02462800. The area of Punariya is segregated as 382.95 hectares irrigated area, 398.95 hectares unirrigated, the 55.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 144.77 hectare area not available for cultivation.
