Prsohar is a small village of 536 hectares in Kaiserganj Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Prsohar depends on Jakhal Kasba, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Prsohar's pin code is 271901[4], and village code is 06545600. The area of Prsohar is segregated as 126.17 hectares irrigated area, 123.61 hectares unirrigated area. the 3.17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 283.5 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Prsohar is a census village in the district of Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2456 and has total administration over 428 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jakhal Kasba and Bahraich to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
