Priyanka Chahar Choudhary (born 13 August 1996), known professionally as Priyanka Choudhary is an Indian television actress and model.[1] She is currently playing one of the leads Tejo Singh Virk (née Sandhu) in Colors TV show Udaariyaan opposite Ankit Gupta and alongside Isha Malviya.[2]
Early life
Choudhary was born on 13th August 1996 in Jaipur, India. She always wanted to become an actress and became part of the glam industry since 2016, featuring in multiple music videos (mostly Punjabi language|Punjabi) on YouTube. She gained immense popularity in these music videos and had become a celebrity in Punjabi language|Punjabi music industry and went ahead to star opposite bollywood veteran singer Shaan (singer)| Shaan .[3]
Career
Choudhary started off her career as a Model (person)|model and hosted several public events. She established her acting career by featuring in several Punjabi language|Punjabi music videos, thus becoming a popular face in Punjabi language|Punjabi music industry.[3]
Soon, in 2018, she got her first lead role as Chandni in the Hindi language|Hindi film Lateef To Laden[4]. Later in 2019, She made her television debut with the Hindi language|Hindi television Colors TV show Gathbandhan.[5] In the same year, she was also seen playing the lead Aaliya opposite Pandya Store fame Akshay Kharodia in the Hindi language|Hindi crime thriller film Kandy Twist.[6] Choudhary rose to fame after being roped in as the main lead Tejo Singh Virk (née Sandhu) in Colors TV show Udaariyaan.[7]
