Premnagar is a small village of 891 hectares in Jodhpur Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Premnagar depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Premnagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Premnagar's pin code is 342027[4], and village code is 01986500. The area of Premnagar is segregated as 866 hectares unirrigated, the 22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 3 hectare area not available for cultivation.
