Pratappura is a small village of 346 hectares in Jhunjhunu Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pratappura depends on BAGGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 50.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pratappura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Pratappura's pin code is 333001[4], and village code is 00691000. The area of Pratappura is segregated as 50 hectares irrigated area, 270 hectares unirrigated, the 12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 14 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Pratappura is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1233 and has total administration over 206 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BAGGAR and Jhunjhunu to sell wood furniture and make their living.
