Porula is a small village of 168 hectares in Behror Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Porula depends on REWARI (HARYANA), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 43.70% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Porula is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Porula's pin code is 301708[4], and village code is 00754900. The area of Porula is segregated as 43.7 hectares irrigated area, 111.34 hectares unirrigated, the 2.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 10.76 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Porula is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 715 and has total administration over 133 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of REWARI (HARYANA) and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
